How does therapy at home work?
The therapist will bring some items to assist in therapy but will also use things found in your home. Activities will be structured while involving play to target desired goals. The parent/guardian will be present and often active in the sessions to assist with carryover outside of the scheduled visits.
There will be an opportunity for ongoing dialogue and questions related to treatment and observations. You will then be provided with 1-3 activities to do with your child as homework based on what was done during the visit.

Formal Evaluation
Our therapist will get to know you and your child, verify concerns, and discuss medical history. They will also discuss treatments options. More details provided on booking.
Follow Up Appointments
Therapy sessions can be provided at home or through our online telehealth platform. Details will be determined following your initial evaluation.

If you are not sure how to help your child or even if they need physical therapy, book a free consultation to discuss your questions or concerns and determine any need for a formal evaluation.
If it is determined that a formal evaluation is not required, recommendations for helpful activities or other resources or referrals will be provided. If we are not the best fit for you, we can help you in finding what your child needs.
If there is cause for a formal assessment and the parent agrees, then logistics will be discussed. We can ass online via telehealth or visit you in your home if you live within travel distance.
